Today's Age cartoon. God looks like Gandalf but I think that's kind of inevitable... When you're a cartoonist doing a gag cartoon you have to use stereotypes or the gag doesn't work. If I'd drawn God as a black African woman (which I'd love to do!) then folk wouldn't get the gag. So, sadly, I'm restricted to drawing God as an old man with a flowing white beard. A Gandalf, Charlton Heston kind of God.
Sad really.
God is probably up there waving her badminton racket and madly shouting
"Some imagination people! For God's sake!"
Considering Charlton Heston was a gun totting, republican - yes, it is rather unfortunate!
